Job Summary

This role is responsible for designing and implementing Unified Communications solutions, including UC architecture and design, PSTN trunking, CUBE and voice gateway configurations, analog devices, and call flow engineering.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of Unified Communications products and technologies, including CUCM, CUC, IM & Presence, Expressways, SIP trunks, PRIs with carriers, codec negotiation, SIP headers, PRIs, and call routing logic.

They will also have experience with advanced IOS gateway setup, dial peers, DSP resources, survivability strategies, and virtualization and cloud migration.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Unified Communications Architecture and Design: Ability to design and implement scalable and secure UC architectures, including clusters, inter-cluster trunks, and high availability configurations.
  • PSTN Trunking and Interoperability: Knowledge of SIP trunks, PRIs with carriers, codec negotiation, SIP headers, PRIs, and call routing logic.
  • CUBE and Voice Gateway Configurations: Experience with advanced IOS gateway setup, dial peers, DSP resources, and survivability strategies.
  • Virtualization and Cloud Migration: Ability to deploy IPT solutions on UCS platforms or migrate to cloud-based collaboration.
  • Call Flow Engineering: End-to-end call flow design across multiple platforms (CUCM, Unity, UCCX/UCCE, Expressway).
  • Integration Expertise: Ability to connect IPT with third-party systems (CRM, ERP, SIP endpoints, SBCs).
