Test Equipment Development Leader

This is an exciting position as a Test Equipment Development Leader, requiring strong leadership and technical skills.
About the Role- Lead a team of test engineers (SW, EE, ME, TE) to develop and deliver test equipment solutions that meet business objectives for cost, quality, schedule and other factors.
- Solve technical problems both independently and with co-workers.
- Present weekly program status updates to internal teams as required.
- Communicate cross-functionally with engineering and business teams as required.
- Manage supplier performance and communicate progress.
- Develop and deliver test equipment solutions that meet business objectives.
This is an opportunity to lead the development of new product test equipment for new consumer products. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing test strategies, managing supplier relationships, and delivering high-quality test equipment solutions on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test engineering, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also have experience working with suppliers, managing projects, and leading cross-functional teams.
In addition to their technical expertise, the successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to think critically, and the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively. They will also be able to work collaboratively with colleagues, communicate complex ideas simply, and demonstrate a customer-centric approach.
