Our company is seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to support our finance and operations team.

We need someone who is not only detail-oriented and accurate but also sharp, proactive, and resourceful in managing day-to-day bookkeeping activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records in compliance with Australian accounting standards
  • Assisting with BAS, GST, and other tax-related filings
  • Processing payroll and superannuation contributions (if required)
  • Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Working with accountants to prepare financial reports and ensure compliance
  • Managing invoicing, receipts, and expense tracking
  • Communicating effectively with internal teams, vendors, and clients regarding financial matters

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience: A minimum of 3–5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience (Australian clients or companies preferred)
  • Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, or MYOB
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of BAS, GST, superannuation, and other Australian compliance requirements
  • Communication: Fluent English (written and verbal). Clear, professional, and confident communicator
  • Work Style: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Mindset: Sharp, analytical, and proactive problem-solver

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with Australian businesses
  • Certification in bookkeeping or accounting
  • Strong Excel and reporting skills
