Automating Test Cases with Python and Android APIs

Job Description:

As a skilled automation specialist, you will be responsible for studying and understanding customer's in-house automation tool and R&S provided automation manager. You will perform feasibility studies of automating targeted test cases and come up with phase-wise plans to automate them.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Study and understand the customer's in-house automation tool and R&S provided automation manager.
  2. Perform feasibility study of automating the targeted test cases and come up with a phase-wise plan to automate them.
  3. Modify and/or develop new scripts using Python to automate targeted test cases that are currently running in semi-automated mode on R&S network simulators.
  4. Candidate must have hands-on experience in python scripting and automation and expertise in working with Android APIs.
  5. Understanding of R&S network simulators and associated testing frameworks is a bonus.
  6. Candidate will be an independent contributor and needs to be highly motivated and ready to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • Mandatory skills => Python development, python automation scripting, expertise in working with Android APIs
  • Hands-on experience in python scripting and automation
  • Expertise in working with Android APIs
  • Understanding of R&S network simulators and associated testing frameworks
