Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Specialist to lead our automation testing efforts and establish best practices for test automation.

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Appium, or similar tools.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure testability of software applications and define test requirements.
  • Design comprehensive test strategies and plans for automation testing, identifying and prioritizing test cases based on risk analysis and business impact.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide guidance to team members on automation testing concepts, tools, and best practices.
  • Monitor and analyze test results to identify defects and areas for improvement, maintaining test data and environments required for automation testing.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest automation testing tools, techniques, and trends, mentoring and training team members on these topics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software releases.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years' experience working in manual and automation testing and leading QA efforts.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages, such as Python, for test automation scripting.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools and practices.
  • In-depth understanding of software testing methodologies, test case design, and defect management.
  • Agile development methodologies and the role of QA in an Agile environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
