Modern analytics teams require strong leaders who can drive the development and implementation of data-driven solutions. This role presents an exceptional opportunity for a skilled professional to take on a leadership position and shape the future of our organization's analytics ecosystem.

We are seeking a seasoned Analytics Engineering & Automation Lead who will spearhead the design, scaling, and governance of datamarts, dashboards, business rules, and machine learning deployment pipelines. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical expertise, effective communication skills, and the ability to mentor and lead a team of analysts/engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. 1. Data Engineering
  • Design and oversee the creation of datamarts and curated data views across various domains.
  • Establish best practices for data modeling, documentation, and governance.
  • Mentor team members on SQL and data engineering patterns.
2. Dashboarding & Visualisation
  • Drive standards for dashboard design, usability, and governance across business teams.
  • Lead the development of executive-level and operational dashboards.
  • Manage a backlog of dashboard requests with clear Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
3. Business Rule Engines (BREs)
  • Own the design and governance of production rule engines for credit/fraud policies.
  • Ensure scalable, tested, and version-controlled deployment of rules.
  • Collaborate with Risk/Policy/Product teams for agile implementation.
4. ML Deployment & Maintenance
  • Lead the deployment and monitoring of batch-based machine learning models.
  • Define standards for model execution, monitoring, and retraining workflows.
  • Partner with model builders for smooth model-to-production handoff.
5. Automation & SLAs
  • Define and enforce SLAs for data, dashboard, and BRE changes.
  • Introduce automated solutions using tools like GenAI, n8n, dbt, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
  • Continuously improve the efficiency of analytics delivery.
6. Team Leadership
  • Lead a small team (2–4 analysts/engineers) with responsibility for prioritization, quality, and development.
  • Conduct regular reviews, mentorship, and skill development.
  • Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and the analytics team.
