Job Title:

Supplier Quality Expert

Description:

This role involves supporting suppliers in Bangalore as a supplier quality specialist. The primary focus will be on supporting the Boeing Commercial Airplane business organization.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support duties and responsibilities assigned by management related to supplier quality profiles
  • The key responsibility is inspection and assessment of products produced from the BCA Supply base in India
  • Assist with audits and assessments of suppliers systems, processes, and products, and also involve in documenting the audit and assessment results and in RCCA
  • Monitor and report supplier quality related performance status for the supply base

Key Requirements:

  • A highly self-motivated individual capable of being self-directed with minimal supervision is required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, program management, and quality management skills are essential to communicate with all stakeholders including factory customers, supplier management, Engineering, and all levels of supplier personnel
  • Success will require the ability to establish good personal relationships and outstanding team building skills in a multi-cultural and diverse environment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 3 to 5 relevant years of experience
  • Knowledge and experience in QMS APQP GD T manufacturing inspection covering commodities namely Electrical wire assemblies, Electromechanical assemblies, machining, composite, and structural assemblies
