Job Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Inventory Manager to lead our store operations. This pivotal role requires a professional with a deep understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of raw materials, components, finished goods, and consumables in the stores, utilizing efficient systems for seamless tracking.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels, raise alerts for reordering, and prevent stockouts or overstocking through proactive measures.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile with system records to ensure data integrity.
- Implement proper tagging, labeling, and systematic storage of materials for easy traceability.
- Issue materials to production, maintenance, and other departments based on approved requisitions, adhering to established procedures.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure availability of required materials for uninterrupted operations, minimizing downtime.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers for timely delivery of materials, fostering strong relationships.
- Verify incoming materials against purchase orders (quantity, quality, and specifications) to prevent discrepancies and ensure compliance.
- Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and report discrepancies to procurement/quality teams, facilitating prompt resolution.
- Maintain and update inventory records in ERP/software/manual registers as per company standards, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Generate and share regular reports on stock movement, consumption patterns, material shortages, and wastages, providing valuable insights for informed decision-making.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in inventory management and store operations, with a proven track record of success.
- Familiarity with ERP/Inventory Management systems, including implementation and training.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and store operations principles, with expertise in analytics and problem-solving.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping, with a focus on minimizing errors and maximizing efficiency.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external partners, promoting effective teamwork and successful partnerships.
