Senior Data Engineer Job

We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer to spearhead our data engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ETL, Cloud, Data Warehousing, and Big Data ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimize data pipelines using AWS Glue, Airflow, Databricks, StreamSets, and Snowflake.
  • Architect scalable platforms with AWS (Redshift, Lambda, S3, Athena) and leverage Spark, Kafka, Hive for processing.
  • Create robust schemas, ensure compliance (GDPR/HIPAA), and enforce security best practices.
  • Mentor junior engineers, work with analysts & data scientists, and act as a technical architect in solution delivery.
  • Optimize queries, implement RBAC & IAM, and ensure disaster recovery/high availability standards.

Requirements:

  • Tech Stack Expertise: Python (primary), SQL (expert), Java (good-to-have)
  • Platforms: AWS (Glue, Redshift, RDS, Lambda, S3), Snowflake, Databricks, Spark, Kafka
  • Tools: Airflow, StreamSets, DBT
  • Databases: MS SQL Server, MySQL, Hive, HBase
  • Strong experience in data modeling, governance, and compliance.
  • Proven track record in end-to-end project delivery and enterprise data integration.
