Fund Accountant Job Description

The successful Fund Accountant will be responsible for performing daily, monthly, quarterly and annual fund accounting functions as assigned. This includes coordinating with various teams to perform tasks, taking ownership of cash breaks and ensuring timely and accurate resolution. The candidate will also act as the primary reviewer and quality assurance of deliverables produced by their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Functions: Perform daily fund accounting functions, including calculation and booking of fees.
  • Monthly/Quarterly Functions: Coordinate with teams to perform various tasks, ensure timely and accurate resolution of cash breaks and monitor status of aged breaks.
  • Annual Functions: Review and reconcile financial statements, prepare reports and ensure compliance with regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Deep knowledge of fund accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
