Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Financial Analysis Specialist. As a key member of our hedge fund accounting team, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing requirements for system enhancements. This role involves working closely with Fund Accounting teams to document functional and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with technology teams to enhance fund accounting platforms.
  • Identify gaps, streamline reconciliations, automate manual processes, and improve data integrity.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of financial concepts, including NAV, accruals, P&L attribution, fee structures, side pockets, and share classes.
  • Experience with financial systems and software.
  • Business analysis skills: requirements gathering, process modeling, UAT, documentation.
  • Understanding of financial instruments: equities, fixed income, derivatives, swaps, options, futures, and FX.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and reporting tools for data analysis.
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills.
