Aviation Engineering Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Airfield Engineer to lead our team in the delivery of complex airfield engineering projects. As Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing project design, ensuring quality and safety standards, and providing technical leadership to junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality airfield civil engineering designs from feasibility studies to detailed design and construction.
  • Lead and manage multiple technical engineering projects, providing guidance and direction to junior team members.
  • Prepare technical reports, calculations, drawings, and specifications related to airfield engineering projects.
  • Participate in technical design reviews to ensure WSP quality management requirements are met.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, industry associates, and clients to coordinate designs and address issues.


Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in civil infrastructure design at airports.
  • Civil engineering degree or equivalent relevant qualification.
  • Chartered or Incorporated status (MICE, MCIHT) or equivalent demonstrable experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other airfield engineering design software packages.
