Research Professor Position

We invite applications for a distinguished Research Professor position in Computer Science Engineering.

  • This is a full-time appointment that requires the incumbent to lead and coordinate advanced research projects, publish high-impact research, mentor research scholars, and contribute to the university's mission of research excellence.

The ideal candidate will have over 15-20 years of research experience, strong expertise in key areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or related fields.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Advanced Research Projects: Develop and implement research strategies, oversee project execution, and ensure timely completion.
  2. Publish High-Impact Research: Publish original research in top-tier international journals and present at premier conferences.
  3. Mentor Research Scholars: Guide PhD scholars and research students through their research work and development.
  4. Secure External Funding: Obtain grants, consultancy, and collaboration with industry partners to secure external research funding.
  5. Foster Collaborations: Facilitate interdisciplinary research, collaborate with internal and external institutions, and organize workshops, seminars, and conferences.
  6. Provide Expert Advice: Offer expert advice on research policy, strategy, and development within the department and university.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • PhD in Computer Science Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
  • A minimum of 15-20 years of experience in research, teaching, or industry.
  • Demonstrated excellence in research through publications in reputed journals and conferences.
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale research projects and secure funding.
  • Experience in supervising doctoral research scholars.
  • Strong expertise in key areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or related fields.
