We are seeking an experienced investment accounting professional to join our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and implement effective investment accounting strategies
  • Support staff with complex financial entries and reconciliations
  • Demonstrate hands-on experience in both investment and general ledger accounting
  • Exhibit a strong understanding of consolidated concepts and private equity accounting
Required Skillset:
  • Minimum 9 years of experience in US accounting with expertise in financial analysis, reporting, and compliance
  • General ledger accounting principles and practices
  • Investment accounting, including platforms such as Sage and QBO
  • Consolidated accounting concepts and techniques, including elimination entries
  • Private equity accounting methodologies and regulations
  • Wealth enterprise accounting, focusing on entity cost allocation
  • Trust and foundation accounting principles
  • Basic tax treatments and implications for investment portfolios
  • Diverse experience in investment and personal accounting, particularly for family enterprises
  • Experience in a reviewer role and project management, including staff training and support
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on building relationships and driving results
Preferred Experience:
  • Hands-on experience with investment performance platforms and accounting systems, including Black Diamond and Sage
  • A proven track record in investment accounting for family offices or similar environments, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and driving growth
  • The ability to train and support staff on complex financial entries and reconciliations, with a focus on ensuring accuracy and efficiency
