This is a remote role for a client seeking an Estimation Engineer to join their Sales team.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Estimation Engineer to work with us on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Evaluate project specifications, technical requirements, and scope of work to understand client needs and objectives.
  • Conduct technical analysis and feasibility studies to determine suitable solutions and approaches for integrating control systems.
  • Ensure engineering design integrity by validating proposed technical solutions align with shared designs.
  • Utilize industry knowledge, past project data, and estimation software tools to prepare detailed cost estimates for HVAC, DDC, and PLC systems.
  • Coordinate with teams to ensure estimation inputs align with execution strategy and project timelines.
  • Provide support in reviewing cost and design assumptions post-award.
  • Engage with clients, contractors, and vendors to address inquiries, clarify technical details, and negotiate terms.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Instrumentation Engineering.
  • 3–5 years of experience in automation or HVAC-related estimation.

The ideal candidate will be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

This is a remote role, allowing flexibility in work arrangements.
