Job Title: Experienced Billing RCM

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Billing Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the billing processes to ensure timely and accurate submission of claims, efficient processing of payments, and adherence to industry regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of overseeing the accurate and timely processing of claims, reviewing and addressing billing discrepancies, developing and implementing billing policies and procedures, and collaborating with coding, compliance, and other departments.

Billing Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of claim processing and compliance
  • Billing discrepancy review and resolution
  • Billing policy development and implementation
  • Coding and documentation collaboration
  • Billing data analysis and process improvement
  • Unpaid claim follow-up and appeals management
  • Billing software and EHR system oversight
  • Industry regulation and standard updates

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must possess a Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, finance, or a related field, and have proven experience with billing systems, payer guidelines, and regulatory compliance.

You should also have a strong understanding of U.S. revenue cycle management, including billing workflows, reimbursement methodologies, and common challenges.

A background in billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills, is highly desirable.
