Job Title: Animal Welfare Investigator

We are seeking a skilled Animal Welfare Investigator to conduct field investigations in various sectors, including animal experimentation, food, clothing, entertainment, and labour. The ideal candidate will have investigative journalism experience, basic veterinary knowledge, and proficiency in English and Hindi.

  • Conduct short- and long-term investigations, including covert operations, from beginning to end.
  • Research animal protection laws, issues, and PETA India campaigns.
  • Travel to locations, gather evidence, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Document findings using photography and videography.
  • Prepare detailed reports and cooperate with law enforcement agencies.
  • Maintain professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough research on animal welfare laws and issues.
  • Gathering evidence through covert investigations and interviews.
  • Documenting findings using audio-visual equipment.
  • Preparing comprehensive reports of investigation findings.
  • Cooperating with law enforcement agencies and experts.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Investigative journalism or related experience.
  • Basic veterinary knowledge or experience.
  • Fluency in English and Hindi.
  • Experience with audio-visual equipment.
  • Thorough knowledge of animal protection laws and PETA India campaigns.
