Medical Communications Specialist Job Opportunity

This job offers a chance to combine scientific knowledge with writing skills, creating impactful content that enhances people's lives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • We are looking for a skilled medical communications specialist to develop high-quality content, including slides, abstracts, manuscripts, and meeting materials, tailored to client needs with precision.
  • The successful candidate will collaborate with international pharmaceutical clients, healthcare professionals, internal, and external stakeholders, fostering trusting relationships.
  • You will effectively communicate with team members, authors, clients, and vendors, ensuring seamless collaboration.
  • Maintenance of current awareness across therapeutic areas or disciplines through workshops, seminars, and trainings is essential.
  • Developing ideas and executing effective medical communications initiatives in the digital space requires scientific and creative expertise.
  • All materials will adhere to client requirements, style guides, and CACTUS' internal SOPs.

Key Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in relevant fields of scientific writing.
  • A PhD/MD (Pharmacology), PhD (Life Sciences), or PharmD with a solid understanding of clinical research and medical communication.
  • Experience working on publications is necessary.
  • Clear, concise writing style with a high level of attention to detail and excellent language skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially with clients.
  • Ability to adapt writing style to different materials and target audiences.
  • Basic knowledge of biostatistics.
  • Literature reviewing and evaluation capabilities.
  • Very good working knowledge of MS Office.
