Senior Financial Strategist

We seek a Senior Financial Strategist to lead and oversee our entire accounts and finance function. This position requires a skilled professional with expertise in financial reporting, statutory compliance, cost control, and treasury management.

  1. Financial Leadership
    • Leverage your experience to drive the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting process.
    • Develop strategies to optimize costs, improve margins, and enhance profitability.
    • Monitor financial performance against business goals and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
  2. Accounting Excellence
    • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
    • Manage day-to-day accounting operations and oversee the performance of the accounting team.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant financial reporting standards.
  3. Treasury and Working Capital Management
    • Optimize cash flows, banking operations, and fund utilization.
    • Oversee working capital management, credit control, and debtor management.
    • Foster strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and investors for funding and project financing.
  4. Cost Control and MIS
    • Implement effective cost accounting systems and monitor production-related costs.
    • Develop and present periodic MIS reports to senior management for financial performance tracking.
    • Support business units with financial analysis to inform pricing, costing, and investment decisions.
  5. Team Leadership and Development
    • Lead and mentor the accounts and finance team, ensuring skill development and high performance.
    • Establish strong internal controls and processes across the department.
    • Foster a culture of integrity, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience: 8-15 years of post-CA qualification experience in Accounts & Finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in manufacturing.
  • Key Skills: Financial reporting, statutory compliance, cost control, treasury management, leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Software Proficiency: ERP systems and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
