Job Summary

We are seeking a diligent and analytical professional to join our team as a Residential Property Investment Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating investment opportunities in residential and commercial properties.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse property deals to assess their potential for investment, taking into account various factors such as market trends, property condition, and financial performance.
  • Review detailed documents, including floorplans, EPCs, comparables, and agent reports, to gain a comprehensive understanding of each property.
  • Calculate key performance indicators, such as return on investment (ROI), yield, refurbishment costs, profit, and gross development value (GDV).
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date analysis spreadsheets to track and compare different properties.
  • Prepare concise and informative written summaries of your analysis, highlighting the key findings and recommendations for investment or otherwise.
  • Verify every detail of your work before submission to ensure accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Take ownership of your analysis, recognizing that your insights and decisions have a significant impact on our investment strategies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by actively seeking feedback and incorporating lessons learned from previous analyses.
  • Ensure seamless integration of new properties into our CRM and deal tracker systems.

Requirements:

  • Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Relevant experience in property, finance, or analytical roles, with a proven ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific terminology, including yield, refurbishment budget, return on capital employed (ROCE), gross development value (GDV), loan-to-value (LTV), etc.
  • A high degree of meticulousness, ensuring that all work is thoroughly checked and verified before submission.
  • The ability to operate effectively under pressure, making timely and informed decisions that align with our investment objectives.
  • A willingness to embrace feedback and continuous learning, recognizing the importance of ongoing professional development in this field.
  • A strong sense of integrity, upholding the highest standards of accuracy and transparency in all aspects of your work.
