Senior Business Analyst for Data Governance

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing data quality and ensuring that all material master records are accurate, consistent, and up-to-date.

This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Quality Management
    • Develop and implement data quality frameworks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of material master data.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document data requirements, and provide clear business input to support accurate data loads and integrations.
    • Monitor data quality rule exceptions, incorporate improvements, and secure timely stakeholder sign-offs.
    • Identify continuous improvement opportunities in data standards, rules, and maintenance processes.
  • Material Master Data Management (SAP)
    • Manage creation, maintenance, and validation of SAP material master records.
    • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and completeness of material data across systems.
    • Lead reviews of obsolete materials and define deactivation and governance processes.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Business Engagement
    • Engage with business users to gather and document data requirements.
    • Participate in Data Quality framework discussions with architecture and governance teams.
    • Provide clear business input to BODS/LSMW teams to support accurate data loads and integrations.
    • Assist in rule development, testing, and validation, ensuring business understanding and approval of outputs.
  • Data Profiling, Cleansing & Monitoring
    • Develop dashboards and reports to monitor data quality metrics and issues.
    • Review profiling results for material master data to identify cleansing or enrichment needs.
    • Support the execution of a robust Data Quality Framework including root cause analysis and improvement recommendations.
  • Business Process Improvement
    • Recommend enhancements to processes and tools supporting material master data governance and compliance.
    • Translate business challenges into actionable technical solutions for better data quality and governance.
