Job OverviewAs a key member of the Dentsu India team, you will be responsible for implementing and managing ethics & compliance program activities and initiatives for the South Asia region. You will partner with senior management to foster an ethical culture through effective communication and demonstration of ethical and compliance standards aligned with Dentsu's Code of Conduct and policies.
Key Responsibilities- Implement, manage, and prioritize ethics & compliance program activities and initiatives for the South Asia region
- Effectively partner with South Asia senior management in collaboration with the General Counsel, South Asia, to foster an ethical culture through appropriate communication and demonstration of ethical and compliance standards aligned with Dentsu's Code of Conduct and policies
- Conduct compliance risk assessment - work with internal functions and market senior management to help identify and assess compliance risks, develop, report, and monitor mitigation actions
- Contribute to the enterprise risk management process
- Conduct internal investigations of alleged Code of Conduct and policy breaches, monitor the execution of disciplinary actions, and remediation activities
- Conduct risk-based ethics and compliance training for increased understanding and improved decision-making aligned with Dentsu's Code of Conduct and key policies
- Collaborate with Communications team to provide regular and timely ethics and compliance-related communication in consultation with the General Counsel, South Asia
- Implement monitoring of third-party due diligence, review, and resolve red flags with internal functions and business partners
- Operationalize key policies (e.g., Anti-corruption, Gift and Hospitality, and Conflicts of Interest Policies) and embed relevant processes including red flag identification and resolution within the business processes and decision-making
- Lead and facilitate the implementation of the Ethics & Compliance Agenda of the Risk and Compliance Committee meetings and follow through on actions arising
- Implement dashboards, scorecards, and presentations to highlight ethics and compliance gaps and to highlight good practice
- Strong background in ethics and compliance
- Proven experience in managing compliance programs and conducting risk assessments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
We offer a competitive salary range of ₹20,00,000 - ₹30,00,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off. If selected, please note that you will be required to relocate to Mumbai, as this role is based in our South Asia office.
