Project Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Management Specialist to lead and oversee complex programs and projects within the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining project scope, managing cross-functional teams, ensuring timely delivery, and mitigating risks to achieve strategic business objectives.

This role requires strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and a deep understanding of project management methodologies within a regulated industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycles for complex programs and projects with a focus on the BFSI sector.
  • Define project and program scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, budgets, and risk management strategies.
  • Manage cross-functional project teams, providing guidance, motivation, and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Monitor project progress, track milestones, and ensure adherence to established timelines and budgets.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively, developing contingency plans as needed.
  • Communicate project status, challenges, and successes regularly to all stakeholders, including senior management and clients.
  • Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in Project Management or Program Management, specifically within the BFSI domain.
  • Strong understanding of BFSI industry regulations, compliance requirements, and business processes.
  • Expertise in various project management methodologies, such as PMP, Agile/Scrum Master certification is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple dependencies and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management tools, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, Azure DevOps.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to risk management.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences, including senior leadership and technical teams.
