Business Operations Manager

The primary objective of this role is to oversee the operational activities across multiple sites, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and driving site profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compliance Management: Conduct thorough risk assessments, implement SSI programs, facilitate toolbox talks, and provide training as per established guidelines. Ensure timely incident and near-miss reporting.
  • Contract Administration: Verify that all sites have valid agreements in place. Map service orders with manpower deployment and ensure timely renewals.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and maintain site scorecards at an 80% level or higher. Identify areas for improvement and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Financial Management: Ensure accurate attendance records, timely invoicing, and regular accounts receivable follow-ups for payment collection.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Submit management reports on schedule and identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
  • Manpower Coordination: Collaborate with the resource team to fulfill manpower requirements as per contract terms.
  • Site Profitability: Monitor site budgets and take proactive measures to maintain profitability.
  • Employee Engagement: Foster a culture of grooming, punctuality, and integrity. Address employee concerns and maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Client Relations: Schedule regular client meetings, share minutes of meetings, and close action points.
  • Training and Development: Ensure statutory compliance, conduct regular reviews, and deliver scheduled training sessions.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Implement preventive measures for emergencies and ensure planned maintenance and equipment health checks are performed on schedule.

The ideal candidate will possess 8+ years of experience in a similar role, proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively. Comfort working with multiple groups within the organization is also essential.
