Lead Innovator of Power Electronics

Our organization seeks a highly experienced Lead Innovator of Power Electronics to spearhead the development of cutting-edge power electronic systems for various applications. This senior leadership role involves overseeing the design, development, and testing of power electronic circuits, converters, inverters, controls, software, and integrated systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leadership: Foster innovation, oversee team management, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • R&D Strategy: Define and lead the research and development strategy to develop products meeting application requirements and specifications.
  • Manufacturing Roadmap: Develop a manufacturing roadmap to support the execution of the product roadmap.
  • Design and Development: Oversee design, development, and testing of power electronic circuits, converters, inverters, controls, software, and integrated systems.
  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a multidisciplinary R&D team including electronics/electrical engineers, embedded software/hardware developers, and test engineers.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Power Electronics or related field; PhD preferred.
  • Experience: 20+ years of progressive experience in R&D management within the power electronics domain.
  • Expertise: Extensive experience in product development and lifecycle management.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of power semiconductor devices, embedded systems, control algorithms, and hardware design.
