We are seeking a highly skilled systems administrator with 5+ years of experience managing operating systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in administration, network security and Unix.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer systems, including building and configuring virtual machines, software installation, account maintenance, file permissions, system tuning and performance troubleshooting.
- Manage services, hardening, break/fix, release management and patching.
- Maintain a solid understanding of networking protocols and architectures in LAN/WAN environments.
- Provide excellent customer service when handling incident response.
- Minimum 5+ years' experience as a systems administrator or equivalent education or training.
- Degree resulting in an associate or bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and relevant professional certifications.
- Familiarity with ITIL and ticketing systems.
- Experience with enterprise monitoring tools.
- Relevant certifications: RHCSA, RHCE, CCENT, VMware VCP.
