Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Digital Transformation initiatives. As an SRE Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and executing organizational policies and procedures for change management, configuration management, release and deployment management, service monitoring, problem management, and supporting the o9 Digital Brain Platform across all major cloud providers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deploy, maintain and support o9 digital Brain Saa S environments on all major clouds
  • Manage SRE team, assigning and monitoring work tasks and ensuring quality and efficiency is maintained
  • Hire and Grow SRE talent
  • Lead, plan, build, configure, test, and deploy software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers to manage o9 platform deployment, maintenance and support needs
  • Improve reliability, quality, cost, and time-to-deploy, and time-to-upgrade
  • Monitor, measure and optimize system performance
  • Analyze and approve code and configuration changes


Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • Strong operating system concepts, Linux and troubleshooting skills
  • Automation and cloud experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, or Engineering Management
  • 9+ years of experience building and leading high-performing diverse teams as SRE manager or Dev Ops Manager
  • Cloud (at least one) and Kubernetes administration certification
  • Experience deploying and maintaining applications, performance tuning, conducting application upgrades, patches, and supporting continuous integration and deployment tooling
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Hadoop, or big data platforms
