As a Monitoring Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our servers, network devices, applications, jobs, and services. This involves real-time monitoring using various tools such as JP1, Solarwinds, Nagios, Zabbix, SCOM, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, and OpdRamp.

  1. Incident Identification: You will identify, acknowledge, and log alerts, events, and anomalies, escalating them to L1/L2 support teams based on defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and severity.
  2. Basic Health Checks: Perform basic health checks and validations as per runbooks to ensure systems are operational.
  3. Ticket Tracking: Track and update incident tickets in IT Service Management (ITSM) tools, documenting incidents, actions taken, and resolution/escalation steps.
  4. Communication: Communicate with on-call engineers and shift leads for follow-up or escalations, providing shift-wise handover updates and contributing to incident reviews.
  5. Monitoring Dashboards: Ensure monitoring dashboards and tools are operational, reporting any issues to the relevant teams.
