Job Title: Financial Operations Lead

As a seasoned financial professional, you will be responsible for overseeing the Accounts Payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of supplier transactions.

This role also requires effective communication with internal stakeholders to support business needs effectively.

  • Manage a team of professionals to maintain high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the Purchase Ledger process, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and supplier account management.
  • Ensure timely closure and reconciliation of the Purchase Ledger.
  • Conduct regular supplier statement reconciliations and line-by-line reviews to prevent overdue balances.
  • Review and approve weekly payments in coordination with Finance Operations.

  • Assist in resolving reconciliation issues in collaboration with Senior Finance Manager.
  • Drive continuous improvement in AP processes, including automation initiatives and system optimization.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in procurement or category management roles within Technology, Media, Gaming, or Creative sectors.
  • Strong track record managing indirect categories such as Professional Services, HR, Marketing, or Facilities.
  • Skilled in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiations.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, influencing skills, and commercial acumen.
  • Knowledge of contract law and commercial terms.
