This role will play a key part in our growth strategy, ensuring we have the resources, systems, and processes to scale sustainably from day one.

Your Role

As our Finance & Operations lead, you'll be responsible for leading our financial strategy, fundraising, and operational scale-up. You'll oversee our financial systems, compliance, reporting, and unit economics.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Financial Strategy:
      • Bulk and manage financial models (unit economics, CAC/LTV, marketplace liquidity).
      • Lead fundraising: prepare investor materials, pitch decks, financial modelling, and investor relations.
      • Build robust financial systems: accounting, compliance, reporting, unit economics, CAC/LTV analysis.
      • Oversee compliance, accounting, and corporate governance.
    • Marketplace Operations:
      • Design and execute marketplace operations playbook.
      • Design operational processes for venue partnerships, equipment rentals, event logistics.
      • Balance marketplace liquidity: ensuring enough hosts & events meet attendee demand.
      • Build trust & safety operations: dispute resolution, refunds, and community guidelines.
    • Scaling & Partnerships:
      • Oversee legal & compliance frameworks: contracts, NDAs, corporate structure, MCA compliance.
      • Forge partnerships with venues, service providers, and student organizations.
      • Develop KPI dashboards: event volume, ticket sales, host retention, repeat attendance.
      • Hire and manage community managers and operational staff as we grow.
    What We're Looking For

We need someone with a strong background in finance, consulting, or startup operations. Prior experience in marketplaces or consumer platforms is a plus. You should be comfortable managing logistics, partnerships, and customer support.

A strategic thinker who can also roll up their sleeves in early execution, you'll have a passion for building communities and scaling people-first businesses.
