Identity and Access Management Specialist

Job Description:

You will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's identity and access management landscape. Your expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining IAM solutions will safeguard sensitive information and resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop IAM strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure enterprise-wide identities, roles, and access privileges management integrity and security.
  • Manage identity lifecycle processes including provisioning, deprovisioning, and access recertification.
  • Conduct access reviews and audits to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Implement and manage Identity Access Management (IAM) solutions ensuring secure and efficient access to systems and applications.
  • Administer Privileged Identity Management (PIM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) tools to secure sensitive access.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IAM solutions with existing applications and systems.
  • Design and implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) models to manage user permissions effectively.
  • Streamline access provisioning and de-provisioning processes by creating and managing personas and access profiles.
  • Implement and manage conditional access policies to control access based on contextual factors.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Azure IAM administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide technical guidance and support for IAM-related issues and initiatives.
  • Train end-users on IAM best practices and procedures through documentation and training sessions.
  • Monitor IAM systems for suspicious activities and respond promptly to security incidents.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Identity Access Management (IAM) roles with a focus on user access review, governance, and implementation.
  • Hands-on experience with IAM tools such as Active Directory, Azure AD, Azure IAM, Microsoft Entra, Okta, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of authentication protocols, LDAP, SAML, OAuth, etc.
  • Experience with identity governance and administration (IGA) concepts and tools.
  • Strong understanding of permission management, RBAC, and PIM/PAM concepts.
  • Tech-savvy with a passion for staying updated on the latest IAM trends and technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Certifications such as Azure certifications SC-300, AZ-500, AZ-900 are a plus.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
