We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team as a Senior SDET. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to work on test automation, backend validation, and CI/CD integration in a BFSI environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders during requirement gathering to understand business and functional needs.
- Translate product requirements into effective test scenarios and test cases.
- Lead discussions independently to clarify requirements and data dependencies.
- Work closely with development and product teams to identify and resolve issues.
- Contribute to test strategy and planning for new features and enhancements.
- Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.
- Exposure to automation frameworks is a plus, but not the primary focus.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure clarity in requirements and data dependencies.
- Perform functional automation, assist with unit testing, API testing, security testing, DevOps and performance testing, and stress test activities.
- Identify ways end-users and consumers will work with the software and help create the best experience possible for the intended user by identifying areas needing continued adjustment.
- Performing performance, functional, and regression testing.
- Preparing & maintaining test reports.
- Mentor the team in automation design, best practices and implementation.
