Job Role: Senior Test Engineer

Job Description

As a senior test engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive testing strategies that ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.

  • Developing and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate system functionality and performance.
  • Identifying and prioritizing defects, collaborating with development teams to resolve issues, and ensuring timely closure of defects.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing efforts, aligning with business objectives and goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong expertise in manual and automation test frameworks, with experience in creating and managing test design frameworks based on RTM (Requirement Traceability Matrix).
  • Excellent communication and articulation skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Experience in BFSI/Telecom domain is a plus, along with a solid understanding of Agile methodology.
  • Ability to create and update test data for automation test cases, perform SIT (System Integration Testing) and UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and select applicable regression tests for automation based on automation selection criteria.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to report defects, track defect aging, and collaborate with developers, BAs, and IT for defect resolution.
