Software Engineer in Test Job

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer in Test to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing automated tests to ensure high software quality across Web and API layers.

This role involves working with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize test automation needs, as well as collaborating with developers to integrate automated testing into the development process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using C# and Selenium
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing into the development process
  • Work with QA teams to identify and prioritize test automation needs
  • Design and implement test automation frameworks to improve test efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have experience in test automation, including:

  • Automation coding using C# and Selenium
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and automation design patterns
  • Experience with NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest
  • Proficiency in API testing (REST), using tools such as RestSharp, Postman, or HttpClient
  • Experience in writing complex SQL queries and validating data against UI/API results
Preferred Skills:

The following skills would be beneficial but not required:

  • Experience with BDD frameworks like SpecFlow
  • Knowledge of agile software development methodologies
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git
