Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software code that meets strict quality standards, leveraging your expertise in programming languages such as Python.
  • Identify opportunities for optimization and improvement within existing software components, libraries, and frameworks.
  • Apply knowledge of software development best practices, including coding standards, secure coding, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Contribute to requirement analysis and estimations, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Support software testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding software enhancements.
  • Design and code complex functions and full modules autonomously, meeting agreed-upon quality, deadline, and cost targets.
  • Perform code reviews and basic troubleshooting, maintaining a high level of technical expertise.
  • Participate in workshops with customers and external partners, fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • Coach less experienced software developers, promoting knowledge sharing and growth within the team.

Requirements:

  • Proven 3-7 years of experience in solutions based on Core Python, with a strong understanding of object-oriented concepts.
  • Knowledge of Linux platforms and familiarity with C++, PHP, Jenkins, Testlink, SVN, JIRA.
  • Demonstrate strong work ethics by embracing Idemia's values of TRUST, CURIOUS, DARING, CARING, and TOGETHER.
