**Job Opportunity:**

We are seeking a skilled Software Development Specialist to join our global development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing innovative tools and applications for Ovation Green SCADA, a specialized system designed for renewable energy assets.

Ovation Green offers a comprehensive range of features, flexibility, and services to empower users with enhanced control over their energy sites. As a key member of our team, you will work on designing and developing multi-layer, cross-platform applications using design patterns.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing new applications, bug fixes, and expanding features in existing applications.
  • Frontend software design and development.
  • Building and delivering solutions that meet partner requirements and customer expectations.
  • Providing timely information to individuals across the organization.
  • Designing and reviewing technical specifications and architectures.

**Requirements:**

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years of commercial experience in software development.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and its core principles (e.g., components, state management, hooks, lifecycle methods).
  • Familiarity with TypeScript for better type safety.
  • Strong skills in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Understanding of front-end build tools and pipelines.
  • Able to communicate at a good level of English.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration.
  • Experience with Microsoft development tools.
  • Practical experience in software design principles and best practices.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and debugging software.
  • Ability to work and function within a diverse environment with remote teams.
  • Experience with full-lifecycle projects and formal software development methodologies.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

The following qualifications will be advantageous:

  • Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
  • 2–5 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a similar role.
  • Experience with Web sockets, Tomcat servlet engine, SQL Server, Apache Cassandra, PostgreSQL database, Junit tests, and Networking knowledge.
  • Knowledge of SCADA systems and basic knowledge of renewable assets (wind turbines, solar plants, BESS).
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and recognized expertise in a technology or product area.
