Technical Support Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to maintain and enhance our production systems. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in troubleshooting and resolving customer issues.

This role is ideal for professionals who have strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot and are passionate about solving real-time production issues while contributing to development efforts.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Resolving complex technical escalations using analytical skills.
  • Collaborating with the Engineering team to develop solutions for customer-reported problems.
  • Participating in daily meetings to update the development team on ongoing escalations and their statuses.
  • Owning highly technical customer escalations with clear expectations and timelines.
  • Building tools and techniques to aid root cause analysis using available data and code base.
  • Reducing time to resolve product issues by fixing them as needed after RCA.
  • Providing timely updates to issue reporting teams to improve overall customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborating with Product management to identify and implement backlog requirements that add value to the product.

To be successful in this role, you will need to bring:

  • A Bachelor's degree.
  • 6+ years' experience in technical product support type roles. Preferably in escalations teams.
  • Experience working as L3 escalation engineer handling complex customer issues.
  • Software development experience using Java technologies.
  • Good understanding and working experience of MySQL/MariaDB/RDBMS and database concepts.
  • Good understanding and working experience of Microservice architecture environments on AWS.
  • Experience troubleshooting and aiding root cause analysis for customer/support/field reported issues.
  • Passion, curiosity, integrity, and outstanding attention to detail while performing tasks. A team player who works well in collaborative environments.
  • Display a high attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Scripting; Splunk; network troubleshooting; REST API troubleshooting; Query database
