Event Sponsorship Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Event Sponsorship Specialist to develop and execute the sponsorship strategy for our live events.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a comprehensive sponsorship plan that aligns with brand objectives and event positioning.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential sponsors, creating a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Craft compelling sponsorship proposals and packages tailored to each sponsor's needs.
  • Negotiate and close deals, managing relationships with sponsors throughout the partnership.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure sponsorship deliverables are met and exceed expectations.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and brand spends in the live events & experiential industry.
  • Drive revenue growth through sponsorship sales and maintain repeat business.
  • Represent our organization at industry forums, conferences, and networking events to strengthen brand presence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Events or a related field.
  • 10–15 years of experience in sponsorship sales/business development for live events, festivals, sports, entertainment, or media.
  • Strong network with brand decision-makers, agencies, and corporates.
  • Proven track record of closing high-value sponsorship deals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinker able to align sponsorship opportunities with brand objectives.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passion for live events, culture, and experiences.
