Job Title: Environmental, Social, and Governance Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced environmental, social, and governance (ESG) compliance specialist to join our team. As an ESG compliance specialist, you will be responsible for conducting audits and assessments of suppliers to ensure their compliance with international ESG standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct on-site and remote supplier ESG audits to assess their environmental practices, labor and human rights, health & safety, ethics, and governance.
  • Evaluate suppliers' compliance with international ESG standards, including GRI, SASB, ISO 14001/45001, UNGC, and SA8000.
  • Perform risk-based assessments to identify ESG gaps, red flags, and improvement opportunities.
  • Review supplier documents such as policies, certifications, permits, and ESG disclosures for authenticity and compliance.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, ratings, and corrective action recommendations.
  • Support suppliers in building corrective action plans (CAPs) and monitor implementation progress.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in sustainability, environmental science, social sciences, supply chain management, or related field.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in ESG auditing, sustainability consulting, or compliance.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain dynamics and sector-specific ESG risks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to prepare professional audit reports.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-cultural engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel or other data analysis tools.
