Job Description

The role of a Senior Associate involves providing high-quality legal advice to clients across various sectors. This includes employment contracts, HR policies, compensation structures, and termination matters. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for advising domestic and multinational clients on industrial disputes, disciplinary proceedings, employee misconduct, POSH compliance, internal investigations, labour law audits, due diligence for M&A transactions, workforce structuring, transfers, and retrenchment strategy.

As a Senior Associate, you will have the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams including litigation, corporate, and compliance teams. You will also supervise and mentor junior associates in the practice.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A strong command of Indian labour laws, industrial regulations, and case law developments is essential for this role.
  • Excellent legal drafting, research, and analytical skills are required.
  • Experience in handling sensitive investigations and employment litigation is preferred.
  • A business-oriented mindset with excellent client-handling skills is necessary.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments independently and under deadlines is required.
  • Team player with a collaborative working style is essential.
