Technical Ecommerce Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Ecommerce Technical Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ecommerce development, specifically with the SAP Hybris platform.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of ecommerce solutions, implementing standards for development, source code control, documentation, digital testing practices, and release management. They will also contribute to the IT Department's Policies and Procedures for SAP Hybris e-Commerce platform.

Main Responsibilities:

• Serve as ecommerce senior developer for eCommerce web-based solution, primarily focusing on the SAP Hybris platform.
• Implementing standards for Development, source code control, documentation, Digital testing practices, and release management. Also, contribute to the IT Department's Policies and Procedures for SAP Hybris e-Commerce platform.
• Ability to collaborate within a software development team using source code management software such as Git.
• 5+ years of hybris development experience.
• Ensure the delivery of code in a timely manner that meets quality expectations and is supported by well-documented architectural designs.
• Deliver quality code which is validated with the code quality tools like SonarCloud.
• Provide Level 1, 2, and 3 Support for SAP Hybris e-Commerce platform solutions, working alongside external vendors and support services.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors to investigate and address the root cause of defects, incidents, and outages.
• Offer expert advice on the technical solution and its potential impact on changes to the digital/web platform

Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills:

• Proficient in Java development with substantial experience.
• Development experience with B2C as well as B2B Hybris accelerator, OCC, WCMS, Media, Backoffice, Cockpits, ASM.
• Familiarity with search engines like Solr, Coveo, lucidchart.
• Experience in integrating various payment providers.
• Hands on experience in creating standalone microservices.
• Proficiency in code versioning and control systems (such as SVN and GIT)
• Knowledge of SAP cloud infra CCV2.
• Understanding of SQL (MySQL, Oracle, DB2 or SQL Server)
• Hands on experience with unit testing framework like Junit.
• Handson Experience with SoapUI, REST Client/Postman, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular/React/Vue.
• Experience integrating with CDN/Web Analytics/Application Monitoring and Alerting technologies.
• Proven experience in leading a team of developers and enhancing the team's technical skillsets.
• Execution of at least 2 full lifecycles of hybris project.
• Customer interaction skills to understand requirements and resolve issues.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably Azure cloud
• At least one experience with platform migration, ideally Hybris version 2208+
• Setup Hybris development environments and sandboxes.
• Proficient in Hybris foundational concepts and has experience & knowledge of multichannel architecture, data modelling with Hybris, Data exchange and integration.
• Proficient in Hybris Task management, internationalization, personalization, and security concepts.
• Write application code that exceeds the defined quality standards.
• Experience in migrating to Hybris Spartacus framework.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with eCommerce systems (such as Shopify, Commercetools, and BigCommerce) is a plus.
• Familiarity with product information management or ERP systems (like Microsoft Dynamics) is beneficial.
• Experience with Retail Applications
• Familiarity with Kibana, Dynatrace.
