Job Description:

We seek an experienced Shopify Developer to join our team. As a Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for creating, customizing, and maintaining seamless and visually appealing online stores for our clients. Your role will involve working closely with our design and development teams to craft exceptional e-commerce experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Shopify e-commerce websites.
  • Extend theme functionality for custom carts, filters, or similar requirements.
  • Work with metaobject and metafield structuring for complex data structures.
  • Collaborate with designers and developers to understand key problems and implement solutions with the right approach.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

Requirements:

  • Experience with front-end JavaScript libraries like React, Vue, Svelte, etc.
  • Competence in Vanilla JavaScript (ES6) including async JavaScript.
  • Experience in Liquid and SCSS (or Tailwind / MUI).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly document and report issues.
  • Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical team members.
  • Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Shopify developer or relevant skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with Shopify development is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of Shopify metaobject and metafield structures is advantageous.
  • Portfolio of past projects demonstrating required skills and experience.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Familiarity with Shopify's Liquid template language and Shopify app ecosystem.
  • Experience with API testing and third-party integrations.
  • Understanding of Shopify themes, plugins, and customizations.
