Job Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to support a critical data migration project, ensuring seamless data transition from a legacy application to a modernized platform.

The engineer will be the sole Data QA resource, overseeing data integrity and dashboard accuracy throughout the migration. Key responsibilities include:

  • Executing comprehensive end-to-end testing of ETL pipelines and data warehouse migrations
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting scripts across AWS environments, identifying and resolving technical issues efficiently
  • Validating QuickSight dashboards and reporting accuracy, ensuring high-quality data insights
  • Collaborating with engineering and leadership teams to ensure uninterrupted data flow and visibility

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with AWS services: Redshift, S3, Glue, Lambda, CloudWatch, EventBridge, Batch Jobs, QuickSight
  • Strong SQL expertise (joins, subqueries, analytical functions), ability to write efficient queries and optimize database performance
  • Proficiency in RDBMS (MySQL, Oracle SQL) and SSIS, knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
  • Familiarity with UNIX commands for log analysis and job monitoring, experience with RedShift and its implementation
  • Experience writing test automation scripts for data pipelines, leveraging scripting languages and frameworks
