In this role, you will collaborate with US and India-based accounting professionals on audit engagements from planning to completion. This includes supervision, mentoring, and building relationships with clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead engagement teams on planning and execution of audits, reviews, or compilations.
  • Provide supervision and support, promoting open communication with engagement managers and partners.
  • Collaborate with managers and partners on client issue resolution and make recommendations for legal, regulatory, and accounting issues.
  • Manage multiple engagements concurrently, meeting client deadlines.
  • Create and track engagement budgets to identify inefficiencies.
  • Conduct constructive discussions with team members on evaluations and provide counsel accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of post-qualification experience with a U.S. accounting firm.
  • Working towards Chartered Accountancy is preferred.
  • Experience and knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Auditing Standards is required.
  • Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills.
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal communication.
  • Strong commitment to an entrepreneurial work ethic.
  • Competent analysis and prioritization of information to make appropriate recommendations.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects.
  • Effective team communication and operation with Domestic (US) engagement teams;
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, project management skills, and proven innovative problem-solving skills.
