Staff Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Staff Software Engineer to serve as a trusted technical leader, domain-level architect, and mentor across teams.

The ideal candidate will drive technical direction, cross-team execution, and elevate the engineering bar by creating scalable systems, shaping engineering culture, and championing AI-first innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a domain-level architect, defining reusable patterns, frameworks, and best practices across teams.
  • Lead large-scale, cross-functional engineering initiatives that align technical roadmaps with strategic business outcomes.
  • Own critical technical decisions across multiple domains, ensuring long-term platform scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Champion adoption of observability, testing, security, and quality standards throughout the organization.
  • Mentor engineers at all levels, fostering technical leadership capacity across the org.
  • Guide adoption of AI-first practices, enabling teams to leverage AI accelerators, LLMs, and automation to increase efficiency.
  • Collaborate with product, business, and engineering stakeholders to influence org-wide strategies and architecture reviews.

Requirements:

  • 8 - 15 years of experience in software development, with expertise in backend development (Python, Java, C#, or Golang) and distributed systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of data & messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure, CI/CD pipelines).
  • System design & architecture skills (microservices, domain-driven design, event-driven architecture, reusable frameworks, shared libraries).
  • AI & innovation skills (adoption of AI accelerators, RAG, LLMs, vector databases, AI-first engineering practices).
  • Collaboration & leadership skills (technical mentorship, stakeholder management, cross-team communication, org-wide technical direction).
