We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our data team. This individual will be responsible for managing master data sets, developing reports, and troubleshooting data issues.

  • Manage master data creation, updates, and deletions.
  • Administer user accounts and roles.
  • Perform quality assurance on imported data with support from quality assurance analysts if necessary.
  • Commission and decommission data sets according to guidelines.
  • Process confidential data and information with discretion.
  • Collaborate in the development of reports and analyses.
  • Design and manage the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
  • Support the data warehouse team in identifying and refining reporting requirements.
  • Participate in initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
  • Evaluate and implement new or upgraded software systems and contribute to strategic decisions on new technologies.
  • Generate reports from single or multiple systems.
  • Troubleshoot the reporting database environment and reports.
  • Assess changes and updates to source production systems.
  • Train end-users on new reports and dashboards.
  • Provide technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from an accredited university or college.
  • Work experience as a Data or Business Analyst or in a related field.
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to assess potential risks.
  • Capacity to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical terms.
  • High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases.
  • Demonstrated experience handling large data sets and relational databases.
  • Understanding of addressing and metadata standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
