The role of a Financial Operations Coordinator is critical in ensuring the smooth functioning of our organisation's financial operations. As an experienced professional, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, cash receipts, and general ledger entries.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily financial activities to ensure timely and accurate postings, reconciliations, and closing activities.
  • Oversee cash flow to guarantee that the organisation meets all its financial commitments.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial statements to ensure alignment with internal accounts.
  • Prepare, review, and present daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports to highlight financial performance and trends.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely reporting.
  • Monitor and track budget allocations, spending patterns, and variances against forecasts.
  • Conduct variance analysis and communicate findings to support budgeting and forecasting activities.

Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. The ideal candidate should have proven work experience (4+ years) in an accounting or finance role, preferably in managing day-to-day operations.

The candidate should possess proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or SAP) and MS Office, particularly Excel.

Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy are essential.

In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, compliance standards, and accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) is also required.

Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with various departments are necessary.

Key qualifications include a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.

The ideal candidate should also possess the ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.

A proactive approach with problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset is desired.
