Role Overview

This position involves a pivotal role in multiple platforms for various financial products. The successful candidate will create and execute test cases to ensure our software systems meet functional and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test new system software versions using automated testing tools, covering functional, user acceptance testing (UAT), performance, and regression testing on trading and financial applications.
  • Develop, maintain, and update test cases and regression scripts based on business requirements.
  • Manage and report software issues and test activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Attend project meetings to discuss issues and provide testing status updates.
  • Foster adherence to QA standards and policies.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to test business scenarios and verify implemented functionality.
  • Oversee release management, including application version maintenance and facilitation of version upgrades in all environments.

  • Knowledge of fixed income and/or derivatives markets is beneficial.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in OpenText Unified Functional Testing (UFT).
  • Experience with bug tracking software and Test Case Management Tools.
  • Ability to design, code, and document automated test cases within defined frameworks.
  • Capacity to create new test cases based on requirements documents and guidance from Product and Development teams.
  • Translation of existing manual regression test cases into automated UFT tests.
  • Knowledge of financial products such as FX, Rates, Credit, Commodities, etc.
  • Programming language experience (e.g., Java, C#, C++) is advantageous.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in science and/or engineering.
  • 3+ years of Quality Assurance experience with complex trading and risk management systems in the financial industry.
  • 2+ years of experience working with UFT.
