Responsibilities:
- Manage teams to streamline the manuscript workflow from peer review to publication, ensuring quality, timeliness, and efficiency.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to increase throughput and reduce publication timelines.
- Maintain scientific rigor and editorial excellence across all published content, aligning with our standards.
- Analyze industry trends and emerging technologies such as AI to optimize workflows and enhance productivity.
- Develop and monitor team KPIs and departmental goals, ensuring accountability and performance improvement.
- Create new journal sections or special issues in response to emerging research trends.
Requirements:
- A Master's or Ph.D. in life sciences with 10+ years of experience in academic, scientific publishing, or edtech content production.

- Experience with digital publishing technologies, Content Management System (CMS), and workflow automation tools.
