Lead Data Architect on Azure

We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Data Architect to lead our data strategy and design cutting-edge data architecture frameworks on Azure.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build scalable data architectures leveraging Azure services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Database).
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive organization-wide data strategy aligned with business processes.
  • Conduct cost analysis and optimize existing data infrastructure for efficient data handling.
  • Collaborate with network and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Implement data modeling best practices (dimensional modeling, data vault) and ensure data security and compliance using Azure security tools (Azure Active Directory, Azure Key Vault).
  • Work with BI tools (Power BI) to deliver actionable data insights.
  • Implement data governance and data quality processes.
  • Utilize version control tools (Git) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates).

Requirements

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in Data Warehousing and Azure Cloud technologies.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SQL, ETL, Python/PySpark.
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing data architectures on Azure.
  • Exposure to Azure DevOps and Business Intelligence.
  • Solid understanding of data governance, data security, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
